UPDATE 8th June 2020

Re-opening on MONDAY 15th JUNE from 10:00am - 5:00pm in Balham and Hampstead and from 11am – 7:00pm in Harrods.

In line with Government guidelines our stores will be fully COVID-19 compliant, including availability of hand sanitiser and observing social distancing.  It may be necessary to restrict the number of customers in the showrooms to comply with the social distancing measures and we appreciate your understanding if you have to wait a few minutes on arrival.

I would like to thank the Indian Ocean Warehouse team who have carried on delivering throughout, despite the challenges and to the excellent Indian Ocean staff working remotely from their homes. 

We are scheduling Full Service Deliveries including those where access is required through private homes. Please contact customerservices@indian-ocean.co.uk for more information.

On behalf of everyone at Indian Ocean, we would all like to thank the NHS and all the Key Workers for their incredible work during the pandemic and we hope that these challenging times will soon be over.

Update 14th April 2020

OUR WAREHOUSE CONTINUES TO DELIVER AS FOLLOWS:

We are offering an enhanced Indian Ocean “No Contact” Delivery service where outside access allows and depending on your location.  Our team are not currently permitted to enter inside private properties.  For details of these new procedures please email customerservices@indian-ocean.co.uk  If this is not possible, we are able to offer a PALLET delivery service.  For details of “What to expect with a Pallet Delivery” please email customerservices@indian–ocean.co.uk  We are continuing to send small parcels out by courier as normal.

 

Update 24th March 2020

We’re doing our best operate a skeleton crew in our warehouse to offer a “no contact” pallet or parcel delivery service.  Therefore, it won’t be the usual luxury Indian Ocean service, for which I apologise. We will be reassessing the situation as it unfolds and will be in touch as soon as we feel it is reasonable to return to normal operations.

A note from Jamie Hobbs regarding the Coronavirus Situation

Dear Valued Clients

Ever since I started this company 30 years ago I have been supported by the most incredible family of people who have worked with me to create beautiful outdoor furniture and offer exceptional service.  It was an extraordinarily difficult day last Thursday 19th March when I made the decision to close our stores, following the advice of our government and to protect the health and well-being of my staff and you, our valued clients.

I have always believed that people are happier outside and this is more important now than ever.  We will all appreciate our gardens so much more as we look to extend our living spaces outside now that spring is here and summer on the way.   I hope we can all look forward to lovely days spent outdoors in the garden, on the roof terrace or sitting on the balcony.

We are ready to “Live Chat” online or we can answer any questions by phone or email.  So please don’t hesitate to ask for our help to guide you through our collections and offer design tips to help you prepare your garden as a place to relax.  We will also be sharing inspirational images on our Instagram to stay connected.
