Information
The Electra biofires are fuelled with bioethanol, derived from the fermentation of sugar in cane, sugar beet or from starch in crops such as wheat, barley, maize and oats. A clean burning fuel producing no residue and environmentally friendly, virtually carbon neutral. The CO2 produced by the fires along with water, is equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by the sugar beet during its growing cycle. Unlike carbon/fossil fuels, bioethanol does not produce smoke, soot or ash and is therefore low maintenance.
